FAQs

Below you’ll find the answers to the FAQs which we deal with on a regular basis.

If you have a question that isn’t answered here then please get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

What ages do you work with?

We generally work with young people aged between 7 and 25, however these are not set limits. If you fall outside this range please do get in touch.

How do I book a session?

You can use our straightforward booking system – book now – to book some services instantly. Other services need to be booked via phone. Depending on the service you are booking, you may have to fill out a short questionnaire so that we have all of the required information.

You can also get in touch if you want to discuss your requirements further.

How much does it cost?

Costs vary depending on the specific service. To find out more detail, look on the page for the service you require.

How do I pay?

Payment is either taken, via our payment partners Stripe, when you book the session, or you will receive an invoice.

Where do the sessions take place?

We carry out the majority of our sessions remotely via Zoom but occasionally offer face-to-face sessions when the family requests, or when working with our partner organisations.

What technology do I need for the session?

A laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a camera, or a mobile phone that has video functionality.

How many counselling sessions will be needed?

There is no set answer to how many sessions will be needed, as each individual is different, however we generally suggest 8-10 sessions as a guide.

After your first session, you will be able to book a recurring slot so that you can fit it into your schedule.

Do you support home educated students?

We have vast experience supporting home educated students, particularly with regards to exam entries and access arrangements.
